You’ve watched them on TV together for decades, entertaining and educating all of us on FOX NFL Sunday – and teasing each other every step of the way. This year, ICBA welcomes two NFL and sports broadcasting legends to our stage: Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long.

Combined, Terry and Howie have won 5 Super Bowls and 4 Emmy Awards. They are both Pro Football Hall of Fame members.

Legends

Terry Bradshaw

Terry Bradshaw led the Pittsburgh Steelers to 4 Super Bowl championships in the 1970s, and is considered one of the toughest competitors to ever play the game. He won two Super Bowl MVP awards. After retiring and being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, Bradshaw joined the NFL on FOX broadcast team and has been a fixture there since 1994, winning three Emmy Awards. Bradshaw has also starred in several TV series and movies, and is the first NFLer to ever receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In recent years, Bradshaw has shared with the public about his battle with depression and two successful fights against cancer.

Howie Long

A Pro Football Hall of Famer, Howie Long has been a mainstay on FOX NFL SUNDAY since retiring from the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders in 1993 after a 13-year NFL career. Howie is one of the best defensive linemen to ever play, known for his size, strength, versatility and explosive quickness. Long was selected to play in eight Pro Bowls, was twice named the NFL’s Lineman of the Year, and was also named co-Defensive Player of the Year in 1985. In 1983, Long led the Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XVIII. Two of Howie’s sons also played in the NFL, and a third is a member of the Raiders’ front office.

About the ICBA Gala
